  1. Zebrahead -- Columbia Records
Five years ago, when their first CD came out, Zebrahead were an A&R person’s dream: a SoCal party band who combined the pop-punk cuteness of Blink-182 with the rap-metal aggression of Limp Bizkit. After scoring a modest hit right off the bat with "Get Back," the group failed to live up to their commercial potential. But they refused to throw in the towel, and their new third album, MFZB (Columbia), is as catchy as anything by higher-profile pop-punk veterans MXPX and Less Than Jake. They ... remain one of the few acts around whose rap-metal side is more soulful than inane.
  2. Relient K -- Release
In June 2006, Relient K released the first episode of their own flash cartoon. The cartoon features all five band members, and takes place in a fictional land known as Woodland Forest. It is animated by bassist John Warne. There have only been two episodes ... far, and can be found on YouTube.[32][33] The cartoons also feature "Merle the Squirrel," (who is now on Relient K t-shirts, and has his own MySpace page)[34] as well as "Crosby the Reindeer".

  4. Wyclef Jean -- Lead Fugees
Biography: Lead Fugees rapper and sometime guitarist Wyclef Jean was the first member of his group to embark on a solo career, and he proved even more ambitious and eclectic on his own. 7. Good Charlotte
Pop-punk or post-punk band Good Charlotte was formed in 1996 by twins Joel Madden and Benji Madden. Both of them were born on March 11, 1979, in the town of Waldorf, Maryland. Happened by chance, the twin brothers, who never sang or played an instrument in their lives, were instantly inspired to form a band after seeing the Beastie Boys on their 1995 Ill Communication tour. Thus, they soon formed Good Charlotte with their high school friends Paul Thomas and Aaron Escolopio. When the band was first formed, Joel was on vocal, Benji was on guitar, Paul on bass, and Aaron on drums. All of them soon moved to Annapolis and met Billy Martin through a mutual interest in the band Silverchair.

  9. The Strokes -- New York
The sound of The Strokes is the result of frantic living, and the late nights and the early mornings they ve spent making their music in New York City. Their music makes you want to forget who you are, and unlocks the possibilities of what you might want to be.
  10. David Bowie -- New York
David Bowie is often rumoured to be the son of Adolf Hitler, this is potentially true based on the law of averages. One little known fact that is verifiable is David Bowie's ability to create real humans out of Play-Doh, and sometimes putty with the right consistency. Examples of this are Boy George and Macaulay Culkin. All of Bowie's creations must live within 60 miles of him so his demonic alien powers can feed them the required energy to remain animated. This explains the career slump of both the mentioned examples and the reason for them both being smuggled to New York in carrier bags to continue living.
