Muhammad: Death
built 158 days ago
When Muhammad was 25, while working for a wealthy widow merchant of Mecca, he accompanied her trading caravan to Syria. The widow, Khadija, was impressed with him and on their return trip offered to marry him. Although she was nearly twice his age, he agreed to the marriage. She bore him 4 daughters and 2 sons, the sons dieing in infancy, before her death.

At once, Muhammad knew what this meant. He should go to Makkah and tell the people: Allah has created Man. Allah has created all the things that Man needs to live. Therefore Man should be grateful to Allah. He should pray only unto Allah and obey only Him. It is Allah’s will that the poor and the sick should be cared for, and that people should strive with all their might to do good and lead honourable lives. After death, such people will be richly rewarded for their efforts.

Of humble origins, Muhammad founded and promulgated one of the world's great religions, and became an immensely effective political leader. Today, thirteen centuries after his death, his influence is still powerful and pervasive.

It is told that the Archangel Gabriel appeared to Muhammad in a cave outside Mecca and commanded him to "Read!" three times. Each time Muhammad said that he cannot read (see Qur'an 96:1-5). This event happened around 610 A.D., and marks the period until his death in 632 A.D. in which he received various revelations from Allah. Muhammad taught these to his followers and many commited them to memory; some did so exhaustively. These revelations started to be written down sometime after Muhammad's death: most agree that this was in the 650s between 650 and 656 AD.
In the Battle with the Quraiza Jews, over two thousand Jews were slaughtered by Muhammad and his warriors. In the bloodbath, Zainab, his adopted son's ex-wife, Muhammad's fifth wife, and a Jewiss taken in battle, lost her husband, father, and brother. Seeking revenge, Zainab poisoned Muhammad's dinner. Muhammad spit out the food before it could kill him, but it's effects on him combined with pneumonia in the eleventh year of the Hijra, led to his death at age 64.

Regarding Muhammad, this was certainly the case as he prophesied falsely in the name of the LORD. Finally, assuming that Muhammad lived today and that the world submitted to the laws written in the Bible, Deuteronomy 18:20 decrees the death penalty upon Muhammad:
