WACO, Texas (August 22, 2002) — Mr. Electric®, the world's largest electrical service and repair franchise, has awarded Grupo Brodheim a master license for franchising the Mr. Electric brand in Portugal. Ronald Brodheim, chairman and president of Grupo Brodheim, and Cristina Matos, general manager, are participating in new owner training in the United States and plan to open the first Mr. Electric franchise outside of Lisbon.

Mr. Electric, Waco, Texas, recently inked a deal with Generac Power Systems to use the Waukesha, Wis.-based generator manufacturer’s standby generators in future residential installations. The electrical service and repair franchise will begin offering the backup power systems immediately.
