Over the past hundred years, the Moulin Rouge has remained a popular tourist destination, offers musical dance entertainment for adult visitors from around the world. Much of the romance from turn-of-the-century France is still present in the club's decor.

On the whole, Moulin Rouge is way too kinetic and fast. It's like the world's most expensive video clip. It's a cross between the over-the-top aesthetics of Strictly Ballroom and the tragedy of Romeo + Juliet but it's not an easy combination. It's a brilliant folly.

Moulin Rouge is probably the most famous cabaret in the world. It made Cancan big in 1961 and it's still a "hot spot" ever since! The current show, called Féeire consist of 100 artists, 60 of them being the georgeous Doriss Girls from all around the world. Shows are relatively expensive (87-97 EUR), if you ... want to have dinner, the price goes up to 140-170 EUR. You have to reserve your place in advance by phone or on the net.
