Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero: Fight
built 388 days ago
While Scorpion and Sub-Zero did not meet during the actual torunament, they did meet in the closing moments of Mortal Kombat, and true to his word: the hell-bent spectre fought Sub-Zero in another fight to the death. Proving to be too strong and powerful for the Lin Kuei warrior, Scorpion slew his nemesis and avenged his own death. With that, he violently burst into flames and ash.

Sub-Zero, as he appears in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks Sub-Zero appears in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon's konquest mode, challenging Taven to a fight, after the latter invades the Lin Kuei Palace. Before the outcome of the battle could be decided, Sub-Zero takes notice to the dragon tattoo he had on his face, commenting that it was similar to the one on the vault door containing the armor Taven's mother left for him. Taven acquires the armor and the Lin Kuei Palace is invaded once again, this time by Noob Saibot and Smoke who turn the Lin Kuei warriors into cyborg demons. Sub-Zero asks Taven to choose sides and Taven helps defeat the demons. Taven then defeats Smoke and eventually, Noob Saibot, who had attacked Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero shows his thanks by revealing to him the location of the stronghold to the Red Dragon Clan.
Whether Scorpion or anyone else destroyed Onaga remains to be seen, as both the ninja spectre and Onaga are slated to appear in the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Interestingly, in the FMV so far witnessed for MK:A, he is seen fighting alongside the evil warriors- specifically, against Sub-Zero.

These mortal kombatants were all fighting in the annual Shaolin Tournament, held by the evil master Shang Tsung. In a bout of three rounds, players had to win two matches to move on to the next opponent, pummeling their foes into submission with kicks, punches, combos and special moves. As players worked their way up the ladder of competition, they were challenged with between-round “Test Your Might” contests, “Mirror Matches” against their own doppelgangers, and “Endurance Rounds,” which pitted them against two kombatants in succession.
