Pressel was weepy again here Sunday, but this time with tears of joy running down her cheeks when she realized she had won the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the first major title of her career.
Morgan Pressel, as detailed here, shot a closing 69 to win her first major at the Kraft Nabisco Championship. She now has more career majors than Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer and Lauren Ochoa.

Winner of the 2007 Kraft Nabisco Championship at age 18, Pressel, is the youngest LPGA golfer to win a major tournament. At age 12, Pressel qualified for the 2001 U.S. Open, and was the youngest player ever to do so at the time. In 2007, Pressel has had seven Top 10 finishes on the LPGA Tour and is currently ranked sixth on the Rolex Women's World Golf ranking. Born in Tampa, Florida, Pressel comes from a family of athletes. Her mother was a tennis champion at the University of Michigan, and her uncle, Aaron Krickstein, was once the sixth-ranked professional men's tennis player in the world.

Morgan is starting her 3rd year on the LPGA tour. Last year, she became the youngest player to win a major: the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Morgan is currently the 11th ranked player in the world. She had a decorated amateur golf career which included wins in the 2005 U.S. Womens amateur, 2004 North South Amateur, and 11 AJGA titles.
