Eyewitnesses Tell of Yerevan Violence Molotov ticket broker, protesters. The eyewitness said the demonstrators had only makeshift weapons - rocks.nd metal bars. A few had Molotov cocktails, but most simply took tear gas canisters and whatever police used to send fire into the protesters [and threw them] back.

Molotov was brought over during the French and Indian War in Colonial America. A native Bostonian, Molotov fled to the frontier to escape his family, seek his fortune, and to find a way to indulge in his favorite hobby - setting fires. His travels led him to a job as a cannon loader in an unknown fort near the Canadian border. And it led him into the waiting arms of his Sire-to-be, who masqueraded as a trader known only as "The Thin White Man".

The Okhrana attempted to arrest Molotov in 1913 but he managed to escape and went into hiding. Several times he came close to being captured and so he moved to Moscow. However, several police spies had joined the Bolsheviks in Moscow and Molotov was soon arrested and deported to Irkutsk in Siberia.
