  1. Missile Command -- Cities
The object of this updated version of Missile Command is simple and still the same. Your planet is being attacked by alien forces who are out to destroy and seize the planet. In preparing for the invasion, Earth has built a powerful defense system. Several antiballistic missile (ABM) bases have been created, and it's your responsibility as base commander to protect and defend the cities. The enemy begins by firing interplanetary ballistic missiles which are aimed to destroy your cities and missile base, and it's your task to stop the enemy before your happy and harmonious planet is destroyed.
  2. Missile Command -- Games
Missile Command 3D is a 3D rendered version of the original Missile Command arcade game for the Atari Jaguar console. It is reported to be the only working Jag game with VR capabilities.
  3. Battlefield -- Game
Based on the blockbuster online multiplayer war Battlefield franchise, EA and developer Digital Illusions are taking the battle to another realm with a modern-war era edition somewhat similar to Battlefield 2 for PCs but developed exclusively for console gamers. Players from the United States, China and the Middle East Coalition will all be represented in harrowing battles of up to 24 players. Command tanks, choppers and any other of more than 30 military vehicles, and make use of more than 70 kinds of weapons (including heat-seaking missles, laser designated bombs and other modern military hardware.)
  4. Gunship -- Gunships
Perhaps the best part of Gunship is it's astounding graphics. The detail of each object is not to the standards of Comanche vs. Hokum, but they are more than enough when coupled with the rich textures of the landscape around you. Though the trees themselves are nothing but a set of two sided polygons set up in an "X" fashion that's considered a dated technique by today’s standards, it's still nice to see the use of large areas of foliage to hide behind. And unless you bump right into the trees, you'll hardly even notice it.
  5. Ballista
Ballista boxes are a new invention that have begun appearing through-out the spheres as the weapon of choice for attacking groundling settlements. No one knows who exactly invented these weapons, although many races have taken credit for them. These are war machines that fire a dozen, four foot long missles. The missles are similar to spears, although some users have developed miniature versions of the projectiles that ballistas fire(the ones with the barbed heads). The boxes have cylindrical tubes on the front facing of the weapon, and tightly coiled springs in the base of the box that shoot out the projectiles with devastating force. The rear of the box can be opened to re-coil the springs through the use of hand cranks.
  6. F/A-18 Hornet
The F/A-18 Hornet (CF-18, F-18) is a fighter jet that is made by Boeing, and was originally manufactured by the McDonnell-Douglas Company. It first flew in 1978 and was introduced in 1983. Its main user is the United States Navy. It can fly off of a type of boat called an Aircraft carrier, because of its special design. The F/A-18 can attack land and air targets, something that is called multi-role. The Hornet is ... flown by the Blue Angels.
  7. Soviet Union
According to the Constitution, as amended in 1988, the highest legislative body in the Soviet Union was the Congress of People's Deputies, which convened for the first time in May 1989. The main tasks of the congress were the election of the standing legislature, the Supreme Soviet, and the election of the chairman of the Supreme Soviet, who acted as head of state. Theoretically, the Congress of People's Deputies and the Supreme Soviet wielded enormous legislative power. In practice... the Congress of People's Deputies met infrequently and only to approve decisions made by the party, the Council of Ministers, and its own Supreme Soviet. The Supreme Soviet, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, the chairman of the Supreme Soviet, and the Council of Ministers had substantial authority to enact laws, decrees, resolutions, and orders binding on the population. The Congress of People's Deputies had the authority to ratify these decisions.
  8. Strategic Defense Initiative (Sdi) -- Star Wars
The debate over the role that Ronald Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) played in ending the Cold War shows no sign of cooling off. Indeed there is every indication that it will just go on and on, like the debates over how World War One started in 1914 or the ones in France over the “positive role of colonialism”. John O’Sullivan’s new book, The President, the Pope, and the Prime Minister, brings an interesting British perspective to the argument. As a journalist, editor, and sometime assistant to Mrs. Thatcher, he had a front row seat for the UK’s part of the great “Star Wars” battles of the 1980s.
  9. Battlefield 2 -- Games
Even though Battlefield 2 is a sequel to Battlefield 1942, there are many changes to the popular gameplay of the original. Many of these new gameplay features were added to the game with teamwork and collaboration in mind. The new game engine includes improved physics, dynamic lighting, and more realistic material penetration.
