The Mirage is an 8-bit sampling keyboard with 8-voice polyphony and a 61-note, 5 octave, velocity sensitive keyboard, including a pitch bend and a modulation wheel. It ... has a polyphonic sequencer, and quite a few (for the time) synthesizer/sampler editing parameters. With features like this, the Mirage was the first practical sampling keyboard for under $2,000 (original list price was $1,695). Sounds were stored using a built-in 3.5 disk drive. Each disk had a capacity of 400k, so, depending on the size of the samples, a disk can hold up to 48 sampled sounds an 24 programs. The Mirage had 144k of internal RAM.

But coincidentally the Ford GT's hood features a shape that echoes a F1-type racing car's nose and front spoiler. His engine's supercharger forms two separate hand guns.

Classics Mirage was released in November 2006 in wave 2, along with the shortpacked Grimlock. He transforms into a closed-canopy Formula racer concept car. Mirage's paint details contain a few Transformers in-jokes in the form of sponsor logos such as "Witwicky Sparkplugs" and "Lithonian Drivetrain." Additionally, his racing number is still 26, as it was on the original toy. Other logos, which include "Plasma Injection Energy" and "F.P. Racing," refer to "pie" and the initials of the deco artist's super-secret non-gay friendship cult, respectively.

The Mirage is equipped with two diesel engines each operating with its own shaft and fixed pitch propeller. For operation in temperate climates the boat is equipped with a type M520 diesel engine which provides a maximum speed of 50 knots. For tropical climates the diesel engine M520 TM5 is fitted: in a tropical climate at an ambient air temperature of 34°C, the M520 TM5 gives a maximum speed of 48 knots. The M520 and M520 TM5 are water-cooled four stroke diesel engines, with drive turbo compressors and a reverse reduction gear. The boat ... has two diesel generators with a rated power of 50kW each.
