The Minnesota Vikings play football in the NFC North Division on the NFL. They have a rich history dating back to the early 1960's and had the best record in the NFL back in 1969. They have come a long way since then winning the conference championships in 1973, 74, and 76. They have won over 16 division championships through 2000. The Vikings did not have the greatest season in 2006 and finished with a 6-10 record and received the 7th pick in the Draft because of it. They chose Adrian Paterson from University of Oklahoma. They have a lot of promise for the upcoming season and the Vikings fans are some of the fiercest in the game.
