Games Workshop and Bryan Ansell have got together to form Citadel Miniatures, a new miniatures company that will be manufacturing several ranges of figures. Ral Partha are already in production, but Citadel will ... be producing own ranges, including the Fiend Factory figures, Fantasy Adventurers and Fantasy Specials. Citadel will not be limiting production to SF/F figures, but also new ranges of historical wargaming figures

The Halo ActionClix CMG brings the incredible content of the Halo universe to the tabletop via the award-winning Clix miniatures game engine. Players are able to replicate the exciting multiplayer action from all three Halo games using high-quality, prepainted plastic miniatures of Halo characters (such as Master Chief™ and the Flood) and vehicles (such as the Warthog and Banshee). Each unit has a unique combat dial that lists the unit’s constantly evolving stats and a character card that list specific abilities of that piece. Using different “move and shoot” capabilities, players move their units and vie for the perfect shot.

TSR produced a line of official Advanced Dungeons & Dragons miniatures. Other companies have produced a multitude of figures for Dungeons & Dragons and other games in various scales. Hasbro, in the early states of publishing Dungeon & Dragons Third Edition, produced a new game called Chainmail based on simplified D&D rules. That project was abandoned, and the Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Game now serves as the game's official line of miniatures, in addition to being played as a standalone game.

Collectors always seem to collect books about their collection as well as actual miniatures. Use one collection to support another by making a miniature display on a bookend. These small display spaces can be used for all kinds of miniature collectibles.
