Miller racked up 60 tackles his JR year (5-5 record)-- 14 of those went for sacks. He had 5 batted down passes, 4 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries. At tight end last season, he hauled in 16 catches for 183 yards and 1 TD. June 2005 strength numbers include a bench of 315-pounds and a squat of 475-pounds. He lists a vertical jump of 29".

Before joining the Panthers’ coaching staff, Miller spent two seasons as the top assistant at DePauw, where he helped recruit two classes that went on to post a 24-4 record while earning the fourth spot in the national rankings in 2002. That group of recruits ... produced a pair of conference players of the year.

Miller was ... a very accomplished high school basketball coach, serving two stints as head girl's coach at Middletown (Md.) High School. In 11 seasons, he led the Knights to two Maryland State titles (1989 & 1993) and 237 victories. Middletown was also state tournament runners-up three times and won six regional titles under Miller's guidance.
