Mike Myers has been on the summer bandcamp percussion staff at Texas Tech University, Texas Lutheran College and Southwest Texas State University. As a professional musician, he has performed with numerous musicals, jazz, rock, and variety bands throughout Texas for over 30 years. Mr. Myers ... heads a percussion publications company which features his acclaimed beginning drum method: Percussion Precision: The Inside Track as well as numerous percussion ensemble compositions and arrangements which are performed annually at high schools and universities all over the USA and abroad. As an artist, Mike Myers has released two solo compact disc recordings, Sonic Frontiers (1992) and Myriad (1996). In his home studio, Mr. Myers has recorded five compact discs for Drop6 Percussion Publications and has produced and performed numerous other CDs, including a 2004 release for Jamey Abersold's play-along series featuring the music of Dan Haerle. He also teaches private percussion, performs and judges all over the Dallas/Ft.

On Halloween Night, October 31, 1963, Mike Myers and his younger sister Laurie were being babysat by a woman named Mrs. Blackenship at her house. Unfortunately, Mike's plan were far different from a traditional Trick-Or-Treat. While Mrs. Blackenship was asleep, Mike Myers went across the street to his own house and saw his older sister, Judith, making out with her boyfriend Roy Aykroyd, Eh? This made Mike very angry and he went inside and picked up a kitchen knife, waited for Roy to leave, and brutally murdered Judith in her bedroom upstairs. By modern standards this would be seen as something as an over-reaction, because, as far as anyone can ascertain, Roy never got anywhere *near* third base, but up until 1992 it was illegal to witness sibling makeouts (siblings making out with non-siblings, weirdo) without murdering them. This law was repealed by Canadian Emperor Hirohito Maximoto because it was, "pretty ridiculous". On November 4, 1963, Michael "Mike" Myers was committed to Smith's Grove-Warren County Sanitarium under the care of Dr. Sam Loomis.

[T]his hot-bed of ingenuity was where Mike Myers received his first formal training, and the screaming success of his predecessors and peers must have given him high hopes for the future. He'd appear on Toronto's Citytv and on the alternative video show City Limits, trying out many characters, including one Wayne Campbell. But Second City was not an immediate springboard for him because, drawn by the lure of the Old Country, in the early Eighties he returned to dear old Blighty.

To help get the show on the road, Mike has hired director Marco Schnabel to shoot the movie, which Myers hopes will be out by next year. Myers worked with Schnabel before when he was second unit director on Austin Powers in Goldmember as well as working on the first two films in the series. The screenplay is already done by Myers and writing pal Graham Gordy, so all that's left is to get a shooting schedule arranged and hire the rest of the cast. Two roles that need to be filled are for a couple whose marriage is on the rocks and who seek relationship advice from Pitka.

In the comedy, "The Love Guru" (MIKE MYERS), Pitka is an American who was left at the gates of an ashram in India as a child and raised by gurus. He moves back to the U.S. to seek fame and fortune in the world of self-help and spirituality, specializing in settling intimacy issues between couples. His unorthodox methods are put to the test when he must settle a rift between major league star hockey player Darren Roanoke (ROMANY MALCO) and his estranged wife. After the split, Roanoke's wife starts dating the star member of a rival team, out of revenge, sending her husband into a major professional skid -- to the horror of the team's owner Jane Bullard (JESSICA ALBA) and Coach Cherkov (VERNE TROYER). Pitka must return the couple to marital nirvana and get Roanoke back on his game so the team can break the 40-year-old "Bullard Curse" and win the championship.
