1. Wanda Sykes -- Hampton University
   Born on March 7, 1964 in Portsmouth, Virginia, Wanda Sykes was raised in Maryland just outside Washington, D.C. The gifted comedienne attended Hampton University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing before embarking on an unfulfilling career in government. The world is grateful for the day Wanda first took a shot at stand-up at a local comedy club on open mike night, taking to the stage like a fish to water.

3. Astros -- Games
   The Astros added two more players to the mix on Tuesday when they inked right-hander Brian Moehler and infielder/outfielder David Newhan to Minor League contracts. Both have received invitations to Major League Spring Training. Moehler, 36, returns to the Astros after spending the 2007 season with the club as a member of the bullpen. He was 1-4 with a 4.07 ERA while appearing in a career-high 42 games.
4. Atlanta Braves
   The Atlanta Braves are a Major League Baseball team having their base in Atlanta, Georgia, since 1966. The team competes in the Eastern Division of the National League. The Braves have the honor of winning their division title 14 consecutive times beginning with 1991 and ending in 2005, omitting the strike-shortened 1994 season in which no division champions were officially crowned. Overall, the Braves have been successful in winning 16 divisional titles, nine National League pennants, and three World Series championships (1914, 1957, and 1995). The Braves have the distinction of being one of the only two remaining charter members left in the National League along with the Chicago Cubs.
5. Astros -- Teams
   The Astros in 1975 would ... adopt the orange, yellow and navy "Rainbow Guts" uniforms that became a team trademark and would stay with them in some form through 1993. These uniforms (nicknamed "the popsicles") bore a black band around the sleeve with the number "40" written in white, honoring Don Wilson. They were originally made by Sand-Knit, were highly popular with fans, increased awareness of the Astros considerably, and kicked off a fashion trend which would spread to Astros' farm teams from the Dubuque Packers to the Charleston Charlies. Eventually, the Rainbow Guts would be worn by many a recreational softball team, as well as high schools and colleges (notably Seton Hall, Tulane, and Louisiana Tech). At the same time, the Astros also switched from red-orange caps to a pure orange. The team began wearing navy caps on the road in 1980 and went with navy caps in all games beginning in 1983.
6. Atlanta Braves -- National League
   The Atlanta Braves are a Major League Baseball team based in Atlanta, Georgia. They are in the Eastern Division of the National League. They are most recently known for their ongoing record of 11 consecutive division championships (1995-2005), and 14 out of 15 (finishing second in the strike-shortened 1994 season), the most in any professional North American sport. However, they have failed miserably in the post season and have collected only one World Series championship in that time (in 1995), against the Cleveland Indians, while losing in the World Series four times (1991, 1992, 1996, & 1999).
7. Colorado Rockies -- Teams
   The Colorado Rockies are a Major League Baseball team based in Denver, Colorado. The Rockies play in the National League Western Division. The Rockies are owned by a group headed by Charlie Monfort. The Rockies are managed by Clint Hurdle and they play their home games at beautiful Coors Field in Denver. Coors Field, known as a hitter friendly park, was opened in 1995 and seats over 50,000 baseball fans.

9. Dallas -- American West
   In a larger context, the Dallas-area is seen as right-wing politically, with a heavy cultural emphasis placed on Protestant Christianity and close historical and cultural ties to both the rugged American West and agricultural South. The popular television series Dallas bolstered this view epitomizing the city with wealthy oil barons, big hair, and cowboy hats. However, a closer look at the city proves this image to be nothing more than an outdated stereotype.
10. Emma Thompson -- Roles
    In 1999, Thompson announced her plans for semi-retirement: pregnant with Wise's child, she turned down a number of roles -- including that of God in Dogma -- in order to concentrate on her family. The two married in July 2003. In the years that followed Thompson would still remain fairly active onscreen, with roles as a frustrated wife in Love Actually (which found her BAFTA nominated for Best Supporting Actress) and a missing journalist whose husband (played by Antonio Bandaras) is looking for answers in Missing Argentina (which marked the second collaboration, after Carrington, between Thompson and director Christopher Hampton) serving to whet the appetites of longtime fans.
