Mid-South Greyhound Adoption Option located in West Memphis, Arkansas on the grounds of Southland Park: Gaming and Racing began in 1991 with the mission of finding homes for retired racing greyhounds. The program has grown to the point that it adopts out on average 130 greyhounds per year, with space for more than 30 dogs awaiting adoption. MSGAO has a director, kennel staff of 3, board of directors of 6, and a valuable volunteer base in the surrounding communities.
