In 1983, the motion picture industrys highest acknowledgement of film legends, the honorary Oscar, was awarded to Mickey Rooney. All of Mickeys life has been devoted to "the business." From the age of one when he first crawled on stage during his parents vaudeville act through today, Mickey has laid his claim to fame over and over. His list of credits for the past six decades is impressive and includes many stage and film successes. In Mickeys eyes, all his accomplishments pale in comparison to what he considers his greatest life achievement, his over 20-year marriage to Jan (Chamberlin) Rooney. Jan is a multi-faceted singer, actress, songwriter and abstract artist. Together, they present their talents in this outstanding show.
