In the later years of the Reign of the Rat, the regime frequently commissioned art that glorified the leadership of Mickey Mouse the Great. By late 1950s and early 1960s, sizable opposition to Mickey Mouse’s repressive policies and autocratic governing style had steadily grown. Small protests began breaking out with increasing frequency across all of the nations within the Disneyland Confederation. Mickey Mouse the Great responded with a series of repressive measures, citing Article 58 of the Disney constitution, which criminalized any and all forms of dissidence. He cracked down on the press, closing prominent papers such as the Main Street Times and the Frontierland Gazette.
Mickey Mouse is one of the most popular cartoon characters in the world. He was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in 1928. He is one of the Walt Disney company's mascots and has appeared on a few Disney special cartoons, named as Fantasia, which stands for Fantasy on Spanish. Mickey Mouse ... has shows with the whole gang including Donald, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto.
Mickey Mouse debuted on November 18, 1928 in the animated cartoon Steamboat Willie. His comics debut was January 13, 1930 when he got his own comic strip. (The first adventure was Lost on a Desert Island.) The strip was first written by Walt Disney himself (and drawn by Ub Iwerks), but soon Floyd Gottfredson took over the strip and continued to draw it for decades.

Mickey Mouse movie poster, 1932 According to the official legend, Mickey Mouse was the result of a brilliant burst of inspiration, which struck Walt Disney during a train ride from New York to Los Angeles. In New York, he'd just seen his popular character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, hijacked by his distributor and farmed out to another animation outfit. By the time he arrived in Hollywood, he was ready to roll with Oswald's replacement.

But in 1988, in a historic moment in motion picture history, the two rivals finally shared screen time in the Robert Zemeckis film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Warner and Disney signed an agreement stating that each character had exactly the same amount of screen time, right down to the micro-second.
Kimball first came to the Disney Studios in 1934, when his interest in Mickey Mouse shorts led him to apply for a job there. Following a stint as an animator on "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," he developed the character of Jiminy Cricket for "Pinocchio," and was then promoted to animation supervisor on "Dumbo," "Fantasia," "Saludos Amigos," "The Three Caballeros," "Alice in Wonderland," "Cinderella" and "Peter Pan."
