1. Inxs -- Michael Hutchence
   Listen Like Thieves laid the groundwork for Kick, the album that made INXS international superstars. Released late in 1987, Kick worked its way to multi-platinum status over the course of 1988, as four singles -- the number one "Need You Tonight," "Devil Inside," "New Sensation," and "Never Tear Us Apart" -- climbed into the U.S. Top Ten. In the wake of the album\'s success, Hutchence was hailed in some quarters as the heir to Jagger\'s throne, and the group was considered to rival U2 in terms of international popularity. However, such success went to the group\'s head. Hutchence released the "experimental" side project Max Q in early 1990, and the record tanked. X, INXS\' follow-up to Kick, appeared in the fall of 1990 to mostly negative reviews. While the album generated several hits, including "Disappear" and "Bitter Tears," only its first single, "Suicide Blonde," reached the Top Ten in the U.S., and the sales of X were disappointing when compared to Kick.
2. The Girl Next Door -- Love
   Rhythm of Love (1990) presented a more sophisticated and adult style of dance music and ... marked the first signs of rebellion against her production team and the "girl-next-door" image. Determined to be accepted by a more mature audience, Minogue took control of her music videos, starting with "Better the Devil You Know", and presented herself as a sexually aware adult. A relationship with INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence furthered her attempts to gain acceptance as a mature performer, with Hutchence saying his favourite hobby was "corrupting Kylie", and writing the INXS hit song "Suicide Blonde" in reference to her. 3. Inxs -- Tim Farriss
   During the Rock Star: INXS competition, the contestants were challenged to write the lyrics and melody to music written by Andrew Farriss. Originally this challenge was divided up into two teams. When Fortune did not see eye-to-eye with his team (that included Casey), he decided to venture out on his own and write his own lyrics. At first Fortune's move seemed to have doomed his chances to win the competition (because it was perceived he couldn't work in a team), but it was this move that resulted in his creation of the lyrics to "Pretty Vegas". This song became a favourite of both fans and INXS and played a major role in Fortune being able to win the competition
4. Inxs -- Bands
   INXS hailed from the pubs of Australia, which is part of the reason they never comfortably fit in with new wave. Even when the band branched out into synth pop on its early recordings, they were underpinned by a hard, Stonesy beat and lead singer Michael Hutchence's Jagger-esque strut. Ultimately, these were the very things that made INXS into international superstars in the late '80s. By that time, the group had harnessed their hard rock, dance, and new wave influences into a sleek, stylish groove that made their 1987 album Kick into a multi-million-selling hit. While that sound was their key to stardom, it ... proved to be their undoing; the group became boxed in by their Stonesy pop-funk in the early '90s, when their audience became entranced by harder-edged alternative rock. In spite of declining sales, INXS soldiered on, continuing to tour and record for a dedicated fan base into the late '90s until Hutchence's 1997 death brought the band to a close.
5. Rock Star Inxs -- Jd Fortune

6. Rock Star Inxs
   Although she was not hailed winner of Rock Star: Supernova, Dilana Robichaux remains in the limelight with her numerous gigs and upcoming projects. Most recently, the 34-year old native of Johannesburg, South Africa, has signed a long-term co-publishing agreement with Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company Inc.
7. Kylie -- Kylie Minogue
   Kylie Ann Minogue (born May 28, 1968) is an Australian dance-pop singer-songwriter and occasional actress. Minogue rose to prominence in the mid '80s through her role in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, before she commenced her career as a pop artist in the late '80s. According to Warner Music Australia, Minogue has sold over 65 million records worldwide. Signed to a contract by British songwriters and producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman, she achieved a string of hit records throughout the world. Her popularity began to decline during the early 1990s, leading her to part company from Stock, Aitken & Waterman in 1992. Minogue distanced herself from her earlier work and attempted to establish herself as an independent performer and songwriter.
8. Batman Forever
   Batman Forever is a 1995 superhero film based on the fictional DC Comics character Batman. It is the third film in the Batman film franchise and the first one directed by Joel Schumacher, who replaced Tim Burton, the director of the first two films in the franchise, Batman and Batman Returns. It is ... the first and only film in the franchise to star Val Kilmer as Batman, who replaced Michael Keaton from the first two films. The film also marked the series debut of Robin. The film's cast included Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Chris O'Donnell, Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar. However, Michael Gough, who featured in the first two films, returned to reprise the character Alfred in this film.
9. Rock Star Inxs -- Rock Star: Inxs
   Mark Burnett, the creator of Rock Star: INXS and Rock Star: Supernova, is being sued by a writer and producer who believes that he stole her idea. According to TMZ.com, Sharlene Sullivan is suing Burnett and CBS for more than $2 million. Her proposal: “lead vocalists for rock bands would compete and would be judged by well known musicians/rock stars” was registered with the Writers Guild of America in March 2003. Her idea started to see the light of day when she met with a director who was interested in developing the series, but eventually the director dropped out due to lack of interest. Interestingly enough, said director worked on the seventh and eighth season finales of Survivor and worked on The Apprentice—two Mark Burnett shows. She claims that Burnett used her “key ideas.” INXS claims that they conceived the idea in 1999, well before Sullivan’s synopsis was submitted in 2003.
10. Roger Corman -- Directing
    Roger Corman returns to directing after a 20-year absence with a unique approach to the classic horror story. John Hurt plays a brilliant scientist who, through a time warp, travels from the 21st century to Geneva in the 1800s. There he meets Mary Shelley, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, and the frightening monster invented by the not-so-good doctor. Raul Julia, Bridget Fonda and Michael Hutchence co-star. 86 min.
