Mamma Mia follows Sophie on a small Greek island, who desperately wants her father to give her away at her upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, Sophie doesn’t know who her father is, and her mother, Donna, isn’t telling. Undeterred, Sophie reads her mother’s diary and discovers there are three potential men who could be her father, so she invites them all to her wedding. Music, comedy, and romance ensue as the musically talented cast sleuths their way through the play trying to discover the real father, and belting out classic ABBA songs, under the direction of Phyllida Lloyd and the choreography of Anthony Van Laast.
