Mexico is bordered by the United States to the north and Belize and Guatemala to the southeast. Mexico is about one-fifth the size of the United States. Baja California in the west is an 800-mile (1,287-km) peninsula and forms the Gulf of California. In the east are the Gulf of Mexico and the Bay of Campeche, which is formed by Mexico's other peninsula, the Yucatán. The center of Mexico is a great, high plateau, open to the north, with mountain chains on the east and west and with ocean-front lowlands lying outside them.

Just six months after Calderon assumed the presidency and the anti-fraud movement and the APPO were defeated, the situation in Mexico is heating up again. The previous showdown over the elections and the revolutionary struggle in Oaxaca solved nothing. The bourgeois, foolishly, perhaps believed that the working class was finished, and that the struggle was over. They will not be able to maintain that opinion any longer.

Lorena's top brand is Pelon Pelo Rico, which roughly translates to the "Guy with the Yummy Hair." Lorena makes spicy tamarind confections packed in play-value containers. Lorena invented the format in which consumers use a plunger to push the candy out of a container. With Pelon Pelo Rico, consumers lick the candy, which looks like hair coming out of the character's head, hence the "Guy with the Yummy Hair."

Mexico's win against Costa Rica on Sunday wasn't pretty. The beautiful game was hardly on display in Houston's Reliant Stadium, as El Tri struggled with an undermanned Costa Rican side as fouls, dives and cards dominated.

Mexico offers all kinds of surf, from a gnarly, hollow, tubing beachbreak like Puerto Escondido (Oaxaca) or Pascuales (Colima) to a mellow longboard heaven like Sayulita (Nayarit) or La Saladita (Guerrero). Some of the well known spots can be crowded but there are many other breaks where you can surf all alone.
