In March 2000, at the height of her popularity, Suvari raised eyebrows by marrying German cinematographer Robert Brinkmann (Cable Guy, Encino Man), who was 18 years her senior. The age difference proved too much, and the couple divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage. In late 2005 Suvari started dating Mike “Murda” Carrasco, a professional breakdancer in a Las-Vegas-based breakdance troupe called “Knucklehead Zoo."
