With all the advertising on Memory Foam claiming pressure relief and conformance, one must not be fooled by these terms. Memory Foam is a very dense material and can be quite a firm bed. Make sure if you are testing one...that you stay on it for a good length of time to see if it fits you properly. All Memory Foam beds offer different thicknesses of MF on top of a variety of support cores. Some firmer, some softer. Any foam should be sold by the weight(s) of the sleepers and their preference in firmness.

Cotton fabric sheets are the best to use with memory foam due to its breathability and ability to transfer heat. This would include cotton linen, flannel and jersey materials. As far as thread count, this is the count of how densley the fibers are woven together. The tighter the weave, the more luxurious and soft the feel. Thread counts range from 150 to 2000+. Anything under 300 should really be avoided.
