Mega Man Zero: Series
built 657 days ago
While Mega Man has had a few 3d outings, it’s his 2d adventures that keep the series running. This is the type of gameplay that the MM die-hards out there want. The harmony of running, jumping and shooting is key to the longevity of the series. MMZXA, like many other entries in the franchise, doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel. You are going to get your bread and butter here. No worries about the game going all Tron Bonne on you.

If you are a fan of the series you will eat this one up because it’s not a port. Instead, it’s a good original game of the Mega Man saga that will take you ten to twenty hours to beat. However, it will definitely frustrate those who are not good at games or someone that does not like hard games.

Novices out there should take note that this is the most accessible Mega Man game to date. You may have heard some of the hardcore gamers talk about how tough this series is. Not to worry. There's an Easy mode that lets you tackle this game like it was an early 80s arcade game. The Normal mode is ... easier, at least at first. It gets more difficult in the middle but by then you should have acquired some decent skills.

Review by Avi "dotmatrixtroubador" Fryman, titled "Mega Man enthusiasts rejoice. Zero returns in this sleek and challenging sequel to one of the best games in the lauded 2D action series amid a host of new features." (Score: 4 out of 5)
Doesn't stray away from the mostly solid gameplay that has been featured in the Mega Man 0 series. The sheer difficulty may leave some newbies to Mega Man and gaming in general frustrated.
