Mega Man Zero: Series
built 645 days ago
Summary Like its predecessor, Mega Man Zero 2 is not a game you'll fly through. It's very challenging, but not cheaply so. Fans of the series will love it, and while newcomers may be a bit confused if they haven't played the first game, they'll learn to enjoy its various offerings soon enough.

Besides the past ties Mega Man Zero 4 ... includes a new Easy mode, not found in previous installations of the series, giving into responses that the Mega Man Zero series has been too challenging. In Easy mode, Zero receives a massive life boost, and can use the Cyber Elf without restrictions. However, Easy mode prevents the changing of the weather, and consequentially the acquiring of EX skills.

Mega Man Zero takes place 100 years after the events of Mega Man X. And it's ... the first Mega Man series to reach a proper conclusion? Get out! But don't worry, things pick up again a few hundred years later in Mega Man ZX.

In Mega Man X2, an organization called the X-Hunters began to revive Zero. The X-Hunter behind the construction of Zero's new body was Serges. However, X and Dr. Cain still hold Zero's original Control Chip, which is necessary to complete him. The X-Hunters, being short on time, use Zero's body parts as bait to lure X into fighting. If X collects all the parts, Dr. Cain gets to work on installing Zero's control chip; otherwise the X-Hunters attack Dr. Cain and steal Zero's body parts for their own. In either case, after X chases them down he will see what appears to be Zero standing by Sigma's side.

Like the other GBA Mega Man series, Mega Man Battle Network, the MMZ games\' graphics engine has been largely consistent throughout its various incarnations. The downside is that many sprites and such have been reused, but the upside is that the engine was near-flawless to begin with. Zero, his friends, and his enemies are all incredibly detailed and animated; it almost looks like a 2D Playstation title rather than a portable game. Even the prerendered images during some story sequences look amazing, and truly are works of art.
