Mega Man Zero: Reploids
built 629 days ago
Released in October 2003, this game takes place a year after the first Mega Man Zero. After nearly dying, Zero teams up once again with Ciel's Resistance Base. Ciel gave command of the Resistance Base to a reploid by the name of Elpizo, who is heading Operation Righteous Strike. Will the operation succeed with the help of Zero?

Mega Man's pal Zero, the reploid from the Mega Man X series who was turned good by the infectious Sigma Virus after 100 years of sleep, is on a quest with exiled scientist Ciel to discover a new reploid energy source. Players control Zero through the missions and must confront several adversaries along the way. Collect more than 70 Cyber-Elf power-ups to help you get through tough spots.

In Mega Man X7, Zero is responsible for the bulk of the Maverick Hunter workload due to the fact that X has recently refused to battle for any reason, due to his doubts about the Hunters' violent methods. Zero captures a mysterious Reploid, Axl, who has just recently abandoned the vigilante group Red Alert. Axl assists Zero in stopping Red Alert's rampages, and eventually X rejoins them. After the battles, Zero has nightmares of X attacking him, out of obsession for eliminating Mavericks (possibly foreshadowing the rise of Copy X in the Zero series).

ZX follows the continuing story of the overall Mega Man franchise legend. Taking place a few hundred years after the GBA Zero titles, the world is now again living in mixed harmony between humans and reploids. Trading adaptations between "races," man and reploid have learned to achieve a common ground, though tension is still high on both ends. Humans have learned to harness the power of reploid technology, making suits that focus on reploid technology. On the flipside, reploids have become more human-like in their AI programming, going as far as actually incorporating complex feelings and a limited age lifespan into their lives. As the truce continues, the two worlds become one.
