Template:Details Template:Details Mega Man Zero 4's main and playable character is Zero. Traveling with the Resistance he is helped by Ciel, who saves game data. Ciel's surrogate daughter Alouette, aids Zero with Cyber-elf items and as in past installments, he is provided with weaponry and tips on battle by Reploid engineer Cerveau. Neige, a human reporter fleeing with the rest of the refugees to Area Zero, is the leader of the band who oppose Reploids.
Mega Man Zero's level structure is a tad odd. You have the 'main base' from which you select missions, and then as you complete missions you are able to access the level that mission took place in from the main base whenever you want. This way you can find missed cyber-elves, collect energy crystals, or power up your weapon skills. The controls are ... very important to an action game as intense as MMZ. The digital pad controls Zero's movement, shocking isn't it? Start brings up the weapon menu, while A and B jump and fire Zero's primary weapon, respectively.

Like its previous installations, Mega Man Zero 4 has multiple modes. After completing the game once on normal mode, players can access a hard mode or start a new game over the old one. Also making a comeback is the Ultimate Mode, which once again can only be unlocked when certain criteria are met.
Mega Man Zero 2screenshot Mega Man Zero 2 picks up where the previous game left off. Humans and reploids are still in conflict over the world's remaining energy resources. Reploids--like Ciel, X, and Zero--were originally built by humans to make life easier, but humanity turned against its creations when energy resources began to diminish. Technically, the outcast reploids are the good guys and the humans are the bad guys. During much of the game, you'll take control of Zero and go on missions meant to prevent the humans from destroying the last remaining reploid base. Eventually, a young reploid leader named Elpizo comes forward with a plan to wipe out the humans once and for all.
Mega Man Zero 3 [Game Boy Advance] Though it follows the same platform-adventure structure of the first two games in the series, Mega Man Zero 3 offers a few new gameplay elements designed to create new challenges and opportunities. Zero, the series' cyberspace protagonist, can now be equipped with different chip combinations to alter both his abilities and his attributes. He can ... find and use the "recoilrod," a new device that doubles the height of his jumps. As in earlier Mega Man Zero adventures, the inclusion of role-playing elements ensures that Zero will have to explore many areas and solve many puzzles, in order to unlock all the game's secrets and make virtual reality safe once again from the villainous Omega. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
Mega Man Zero 3 could be considered the best of the GBA's Mega Man games. Capcom has once again given the Zero character his own solid -- and oftentimes difficult -- action shoot-'em-up featuring enemy-filled levels, huge bosses, and numerous suit and weapon upgrades. This latest installment includes more weapons, more suit upgrades, and more "cyber elf" ability enhancers than the previous games did, which should make it worthwhile for anyone left wanting more after the last game. It's ... great for those who might have shied away from Mega Man games in the past because of their reputation for being uncompromisingly difficult.
