Mega Man 6: Robot Masters
built 659 days ago
Brought to you by the Mega Man Naming Committee! While developing new bosses, the Mega Man Naming Committee had the choice of either Cowboy Man or Tomahawk Man for Mega Man 6. Cowboy Man got scalped at the last minute, so Tomahawk Man won the position of being blasted to bits by Mega Man. He stands in one place and throws tomahawks and feathers at you. Then he jumps around and does it again. It's strange, but it's almost like fighting a Native Crash Man. Whatever the case may be, Tomahawk Man was about as efficient as Yamato Man and Knight Man, and 9th place is as good as it gets for a predictable robot. The trick to beating this guy is to get the Cavalry Blade from Colonel Man or the Rifle Gun from The Rifleman. If you can't get either, try the Hand Gun you earned from Brisco County Jr. Man.

One year after the events of Mega Man V (in the year 2012), peace had finally begun to settle over the world. To celebrate the new era, the mysterious billionaire Mr. X held the First Annual Robot Tournament, inviting the greatest engineers from all around the world to show off and compete with their greatest creations. Mr. X was the founded of the X Foundation and the Robot Union, a force designed to counter the evil desires of Dr. Wily. However, at the final round of the tournament, Mr. X revealed that he had reprogrammed the final eight contestant robots and was going to use them to lead his new army of robots to make a bid for world domination. Mega Man was called into action yet again, but this time he had the ability to combine with Rush to form Jet Mega Man and Power Mega Man. When he defeated Mr. X, he found that Dr. Wily had simply been impersonating the real Mr. X (who had most likely been kidnapped). Thus, Mega Man had to chase Wily down to his new skull compound and defeat him, but once he did, he managed to bring him into the authorities, who tried Wily and had him imprisoned...[1]
Upon Mega Man praying for lack of any other ideas, The Author once again appeared this time by debuting his ability to come in by hanging from the top of the comic[42]. Frustrated that the battle was going on too long, he used his powers to teleport the characters to The White Space [43] (though at first he joked that the characters were dead) to talk with them [44]. In the White Space, after ignoring Mega Man's suggestion that they were in The Author's screensaver [45], he reminded Proto Man that Mega Man, having fought the Yellow Demon numerous times before, knew how to easily defeat it [46] [47]. He then returned the two robots to the scene of the battle, where they easily disposed of the monster. He then treated them to drinks. [48]
Once all of the Robot Masters have been defeated, Mega Man returns to the lab and finds it half-totaled. Dr. Light is fortunately unharmed, but he tells Mega Man that Bass was the culprit. Bass and Treble had apparently been one of Dr. Wily's creations all along (Dr. Wily ... seems to have caught on to Dr. Light's love of musical names). Bass had ransacked the lab, taking a copy of the blueprints for Dr. Light's new upgrade, the Super Adapter, which is a combination of the Rush Jet Suit and Rush Power Suit from Mega Man 6 (Mega Man can get his own Super Adapter by collecting the R, U, S & H panels that are scattered throughout the first four levels.) Wily then comes on the damaged lab screen and taunts Mega Man.
Back in Mega Man 2, there was a robot named Wood Man. He had the ability to shield himself with giant leaves. Now, Plant Man does the same thing. He jumps around in a easily recognizable pattern. So predictable, in fact, you can probably beat him without a scratch. Ever heard of the song "Plantman"? "Plantman knows where the plant still grows, plantman knows where the plant still grows..."

Armed with new knowledge, eight robot master weapons, and the determination to bring an end to the conflict, Mega Man sets out for Dr. Wily's Skull Castle. Mega Man then fights his way through Dr. Wily's minions, including the reprogrammed Guts Man that Dr. Wily airlifted out of the robot master museum previously.
