Mega Man 6: Additions
built 668 days ago
The newest addition to the Mega Man stable came to the US in the summer of 2007, titled Mega Man Star Force. Taking place in the same universe as MMBN, albeit two centuries later (the year 220X), this tale focuses on a world ruled by waves. Electromagnetic waves, to be exact; the wireless spectrum controls just about everything. This has completely replaced the primitive Net of the past, though Navis still roam about to help people with daily tasks. That's not the only bit of high technology floating around; the world of the future ... has a fantastic space program! Or rather, they had a fantastic space program.

The Mega Man Naming Committee decided, one day, that the Janitor Man needed a break. So they created Vacuum Man, Mop Man, Broom Man, and Soap Man. Vacuum Man decided to just destroy everything, so he then became Dust Man. Dust Man has the ability to inhale Mega Man. In addition, he shoots these clumps of dirt that explode. Evil vacuum cleaners don't get any commoner than this guy. He can ... vacuum up tiny particles, carpet stains, and a spot at number 6. The key to beating him is to go to the other side of the room and unplug him.

Mega Man has always been extremely strong in the music department. One visit to ocremix.org can easily tell you how many times these songs have been remixed. One of the greatest additions to this collection is the remixed tracks that play in some of the levels (PS2 version only.) The music fits in great, and really makes the game a lot more enjoyable.
