Media Psychology: Media Psychology Program
built 212 days ago
The PhD in Media Psychology, the first of its kind in a School of Psychology, is a non-clinical degree that develops scholar-practitioners with a high level of understanding of the relationships between media and behavior. The doctoral program will benefit executives in journalism, entertainment, publishing, software development, business and telecommunications, as well as leaders in government, public policy and education.
Students in the Media Psychology program are able to effectively maintain their professional careers and family responsibilities while in the program. Face-to-face contact takes place at local cluster meetings and national conferences, and structured online activities deepen the interactions between students and faculty. Upon completion, students receive a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Media Psychology.
