built 820 days ago
The production of a Maybach is defined by leading technology and craftsmanship. It continues the tradition of the Maybach vehicles of the 20’s and 30’s, and its carefully handcrafted bodies. The 21,000 square meter Maybach-Manufaktur is an integral part of the DaimlerChrysler Works in Sindelfingen (Germany), it is the most significant production site for premium automobiles in the world. Within the Centre of Excellence, about 330 highly skilled employees produce on average just five examples of these new luxury saloons a day. With their experience and their excellent craftsmanship, they take care that the Maybach reaches the highest level of perfection in every respect. Every employee is aware of the challenge to fulfil a Maybach's high demands on both the quality of the materials and workmanship.

The Maybach is equipped with two state-of-the-art automatic climate control systems - one for the front section and one specifically for the rear. Both systems are sensor-controlled to take into account the temperature, humidity, the intensity of the sunshine and even the pollutant levels in the outside air. The system ensures that the set temperature remains constant and virtually draft-free for every seat. An available solar module on the roof converts sunlight into up to 63 Watts of electrical energy. The power runs a ventilation fan when the ignition is turned off to help keep the interior cool.
