Mase may be gay! There is a rumor in the ATL, that's Atlanta, that Mase (A.K.A. Mason Durrell Betha, 28 years old) got in a car accident while picking up a transvestite. Apparently, the person that was involved in the car accident called into a local radio station to tell of the incident.

According to other witnesses in the area, Mase had circled the block 6 times trying to pick up a transvestite who was in the area. After the accident, Mase remained in his vehicle with a towel covered over his head. The police officer working the accident demanded several times that Mase step out of the car or roll down the window. Witnesses say that Mase remained seated in the car while his care was being towed.
Since then, Mase has recorded tracks with major artists including 50 Cent, Kanye West, Young Gunz and Missy Elliot. He has ... collaborated with many up-and-coming artḥists, who include Sterling Simms, Max B, Jeanna Ortega, Bugzy, Gravy, and many more.
Mase As a Puffy protégé, Mase first appeared on 112's "Only You" remix in 1996, before rocking a simple, almost baby-talk verse on Biggie's "Mo Money Mo Problems." His solo debut Harlem World followed in 1997 and burned up the charts. With dance party production and a gang of big-name guest stars, the album propelled him into the spotlight and onto radio stations coast to coast. Most of his fans were young kids, specifically girls, and Mase soon found himself a target for ridicule because of his Pop appeal, unusual style and squeaky-clean image. In 1999 he compiled a group called Harlem World and released The Movement. He ... put out his second solo effort Double Up shortly after announcing his retirement to follow the Lord.
