Tennis magazine says the Swiss Miss is a "black widow," starting with Radek Stepanek, her beau in 2006 when she returned to tennis after a three-year absence. "The former world No. 8 men's player was benched by a late-season back injury," the mag reports. "Previous boyfriend Magnus Norman retired after a hip injury, having made it to No. 2." Julian Alonso and Justin Gimelstob ... were injured after being linked to Hingis. And Anna Kournikova quit the sport in 2003, after being her doubles partner.

In Fielderstadt Martina has won her 4th Porsche and ... the 32nd final in her career. Together with Anna Kournikova she also won in double, against the pair Sanchez-Vicario/Schett, by 2:0. In Zurich Martina, named also the Swiss Miss, won this year for the first time an ATP tournament in Switzerland, and Davenport lost her first tournament as a professional player in the same country. Together with Anna Kournikova, Martina also won in double the final game in Zurich. Hingis won in the year 77 from a total of 87 games. Only 2 games were lost in 1/4 finals, all others in semi-finals or finals.

The new issue of Tennis magazine, on stands this week, calls her the sport's "black widow" because of the fates of the players who have dated her. Martina's next high profile beau was golfing sensation Sergio Garcia. Interestingly, this relationship coincided with her friend Anna Kournikova's romance with Enrique Iglesias. One theory is that Martina felt compelled to match celebrity boyfriends with her skanky Russian pal. Thankfully, such temptations are no longer present on the Women's tour, since Kournikova suffered a serious injury after a freak accident, ruining her career.
