   In the state legislature Vineyard is located in the 1st Senate District, represented by Republican Dave Cox, and in the 10th and 15th Assembly Districts, represented by Republicans Alan Nakanishi and Guy S. Houston respectively. Federally, Vineyard is located in California's 3rd congressional district, which has a Cook PVI of R +7 [3] and is represented by Republican Dan Lungren.

   The warmth and friendliness of the "old Vineyard," this West Tisbury B&B is conveniently located near Alley's General Store, down the road from The Youth Hostel.  Three bedrooms share a bath which keeps the price affordable. Look for the red hat.  There is no sign.

7. James Taylor -- North Carolina
   James Taylor (born March 12, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where his father Isaac Taylor was the dean of the University of North Carolina Medical School. His family summered on Martha's Vineyard.

9. John Belushi -- Jim Belushi
   Feb 29, 2000 - just got this email today. Interesting! "A real mystery to pursue: The TRUE wherabouts of John Belushi's body. It has been moved no less than three times. Is it in an unmarked grave on Martha's Vineyard? Or did Jim Belushi make a deal with Judy Jacklin (his widow) when she remarried? Did Jim have John quietly moved to the cemetery in Chicago where his parents are buried? There is a Cenotaph there.
10. Gordon Moore -- World
    Andrew Gordon Moore operates a studio and gallery in Harthaven, Oak Bluffs, on the Massachusetts island of Martha's Vineyard. He is a realist painter, working in watercolor, egg tempera and oil. As a fisherman, sailor, and self - taught naturalist, the world outdoors is his source. Andrew's work reveals this deep involvement in and appreciation of island subjects, studied through every season. Occasionally, the artist journeys to coastal Maine and other locations adding these images to his predominantly Vineyard-based work.
