An all-American girl and avid surfer, Marisa Miller was discovered by famed photographer Mario Testino who snapped photos of her while she was surfing off the beach in Santa Barbara just four years ago. Her first modeling deal was posing in the buff for Perfect 10 magazine. But soon she was able to model with her clothes (barely) on and made her way into the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue where she's now appeared three times. Miller has starred in advertising campaigns for J. Crew, Tommy Hilfiger and Nordstrom and posed for the covers of Fitness, Vogue and Shape magazines. The California girl soon became a regular in the Victoria's Secret catalog. In addition to surfing, Miller ... plays volleyball and basketball and is a big fan of football and NASCAR racing.
Marisa Miller is a strawberry blonde surfer-turned-model. According to Sports Illustrated, she was discovered in 2001 by fashion photographer Mario Testino, who took pictures of her riding the waves in California.
