Marilyn Manson fled South Florida as soon as he got the chance. But the painted shock rocker returns to his old neighborhood for one night of horrors, co-headlining with extreme-metal titans Slayer on a joint tour that launches July 25 at Sound Advice. Another theatrical metal act, Tool, comes to BankAtlantic Center on June 1, with a frontman who may be even spookier than Manson: enigmatic cross-dresser Maynard James Keenan.

Celebritarian Corporation is ... the namesake of an art gallery owned by Marilyn Manson, called the Celebritarian Corporation Gallery of Fine Art in Los Angeles for which his third exhibition was the inaugural show. From April 2-17, 2007, Manson's recent works were on show at the Space 39 Modern & Contemporary in Florida. 40 pieces from this show travel to Germany's Gallery Brigitte Schenk in Cologne to be publicly exhibited from June 28 - July 28, 2007. Manson was refused the entrance to the Cologne Cathedral, better known under the German name Kölner Dom, when he was in the city to attend the opening night. This was, according to Manson, due to his makeup. Other sources gave different reasons, however.

Manson put on a great show last night in Hot-Lanta to a sold-out crowd. It was well worth the long drive down south and having to listen to the picketing Baptists with their big signs and megaphones blaring nonsense right outside the line to get inside. MORE
