Maria Sharapova (real name Banana Saharpova) is the singer and only member of the highly successful Russian black metal act "Masha". Her screams are considered the loudest ever heard even in the death metal genre. Even though she always claims that the loud screams are only part of her singing style, a lot of theories rose regarding the possible evil purpose for such loud screams.

While her father took odd jobs, Maria Sharapova moved into the school dorm when she was 9. Sharing a room with three older girls, she quickly learned the language. Still, it was hard on her, especially since her mother, Yelena, remained in Russia because she couldn't get the proper visa.
