Cho was 23, impressionable and scared. Instead of defending her right to be any shape she liked, she lost 30 pounds in a month and collapsed from kidney failure. When she posed for TV Guide, the photographer told her to twist her body so she'd have a waist and stretch her face so she'd lose the double chin.
