1. College Basketball -- March Madness
   ATLANTA, March 21 /PRNewswire/ -- College basketball fans can vote for Kansas senior forward Wayne Simien for the recipient of the Naismith Trophy presented by Cingular Wireless, given annually to the men's and women's players of the year in college basketball. Simien, Utah center Andrew Bogut, Wake Forest guard Chris Paul, and Duke guard J.J. Redick were announced as the four men's finalists for the Trophy by the Atlanta Tipoff Club on Sunday.
2. March
   Part of the March on Washington's legacy is its music. Singer and songwriter Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready" was written in the year after the march. For many, it captured the spirit of the march -- the song reaches across racial and religious lines to offer a message of redemption and forgiveness. NPR's Juan Williams reports on Morning Edition.

   NEW YORK, March 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A lack of definitive economic data helped keep mortgage rates at the lowest point since mid-December. Mortgage rates declined for the fourth time in the past five weeks, with the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate dropping to 6.19 percent.
4. Mad Max
   Essentially a western dressed up in post-apocalyptic duds, 1979’s Mad Max proved to be a surprisingly significant release. That seems especially true considering its origins as a low-budget offering made in Australia. However, its influence and success spread beyond those shores as the flick made quite a lot of money, and its dilapidated, gang-oriented setting proved to be very influential for many future releases. Oh, and it strongly launched the career of some guy named Mel Gibson.
5. Mad Max -- Mad Max 2
   Mad Max is a state-of-the-art Catamaran. Its mast towers 70 feet above the spacious deck which stretches 60 feet long and 25 feet across. Crafted for adventure with passenger safety and comfort in mind, the twin hulls are engineered to create smooth and graceful movement across the water.
6. George Miller -- Wednesday March
   In March 2007, George revealed he had plans to make a new Mad Max film. It will be the fourth in the series. There are no plans to include Mel Gibson in the project. (edit)

9. Diary of a Mad Black Woman
   Diary of a Mad Black Woman has everything. It's a domestic drama, a romance, a comedy, and a revenge story all rolled into one. 10. Mad Cow Disease -- United States
    Mad Cow Disease, which reared its ugly head in the United States for the first time, captured the No. 6 spot. After an initial scare in December 2003, cattle in Washington State were quarantined in January by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and fears arose again in November when the USDA stated they had a potential case after two tests were inconclusive. Beef prices plummeted for a week, but rebounded right before Thanksgiving when a third test confirmed the cow in question did not have the deadly disease.
