Marathon: Half Marathon

The popular family fun, which is approximately 1.5 miles, will take place after the start of the Half Marathon and will comprise 2 laps of the perimeter of the maltings meadow sports ground. Entry is on the day. The finish of the races is by the Grandstand and the first runners can be expected at about 1 o’clock, and where the winners will receive their prizes from the Town Mayor.

A chip timing system will be used for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K. In order to score in these races, you must wear the chip on your shoe during the race and turn it in after crossing the finish line. You must return your chip to avoid being charged a chip replacement fee.
