Each day, employees review hundreds of life insurance applicants and must analyze the risk of each application. To help screen high-risk applicants, the company relies on its partnership with the Medical Insurance Bureau (MIB), which keeps a repository of all life insurance applications and uses the data to identify potentially fraudulent applicants. When the MIB upgraded its online application inquiry system, Manulife had to find a compatible integration tool. Manulife also wanted a solution that could be used to address other integration challenges in the future.
