Toward the end of Mango's sabbatical, she began attending Reform School in preparation for another try at Rally. Apparently, something worked -- she finally earned her Rally Advanced (RA) title in Rio Rancho (New Mexico...near Albuquerque) yesterday and today. See photo below.

From September 2007, Mango airlines have been offering a business class option. Dubbed "Top Class", the Mango business class offers passengers the option of a business class lounge, 30kg luggage, a flexible schedule and "free" meals. Top Class passengers do not get business class seats, but get the option to be seated at row 15 or 16 with the extra leg room, and a R40 meal voucher.

The mango-leaf webber, or "tent caterpillar", Orthaga euadrusalis, has become a major problem in North India, especially in old, crowded orchards where there is excessive shade. Around Lucknow, 'Dashehari' is heavily infested by this pest; 'Samarbehist' ('Chausa') less. In South Africa, 11 species of scales have been recorded on the fruits. Coccus mangiferae and C. acuminatus are the most common scale insects giving rise to the sooty mold that grows on the honeydew excreted by the pests. In some areas, there are occasional outbreaks of the scales, Pulvinaria psidii, P. polygonata, Aulacaspis cinnamoni, A. tubercularis, Aspidiotus destructor and Leucaspis indica. In Florida, pyriform scale, Protopulvinaria Pyrformis, and Florida wax scale, Ceroplastes floridensis, are common, and the lesser snow scale, Pinnaspis strachani, infests the trunks of small trees and lower branches of large trees.

Mango airlines' first flight ever, from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport to Cape Town International Airport. Just before 0600, flight JE 123, the first Mango airlines flight taxied down the OR Tambo's runway and took off for Cape Town.
