In 2002, average annual wage and salary earnings of management analysts and consultants was about $60,340. The middle 50 percent earned between $46,160 and $83,590, while the lowest 10 percent earned less than $35,990. And the highest 10 percent earned more than $250,000.

If the practice receives the Accredited Practice designation, all management consultants with less than three years experience are enrolled as Associates and those with more than three years experience become CMCs.
