Magic Carpet: Game
built 263 days ago
Hop on your Magic Carpet and battle through sorcerers and demons as you attempt to possess the coveted mana. You're responsible for restoring equilibrium to the shattered world in this one-player game. Return to your castle with as much mana as you're able to gather in your hot air balloon. New spells you learn along the way will help you with the forces of evil. Keep your eyes peeled and rid the world of these unspeakable horrors!

One of the great features of Magic Carpet is that a million different players can adopt a million different strategies, but it's possible for all to be victorious. Magic Carpet is a game of such freedom that there is no real definite way to finish the game, the method of completion being entirely up to the player. Experimentation with strategies and play methods can pay off in a big way, but there is no substitute for a skilled joypad handler with bloody fast fingers.

"In Magic Carpet gamers are dropped into a world that's fun to just explore. Spells are all visually represented, often creating new areas or objects for the players to fly through, such as huge crevices created by an earthquake or giant erupting mountains of lava that spring up after a volcano has been cast. No matter what resolution you run the game in, it will seem singularly impressive until you look at one of the higher detail modes. Once you're through looking around, it's time to get to the meat of the game - magic."
