The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has ruled that Madonna (the singer) has the right to use Madonna.com as her Web address. The WIPO panel ruled that the current owner, Dan Parisi, lacked rights or “legitimate interests in the domain name.” In addition, the panel decided that the name “has been registered and used in bad faith”, since Parisi was pointing the domain name to nude pictures.
