Madonna is in Berlin today, attending the 58th edition of the Berlinale Festival and the screening of her first short movie as a director, Filth and Wisdom. Madonna arrived in Berlin with the movie's crew yesterday night and attended the screening before answering the European press' questions during a devoted press conference.

Madonna does not appear in the film, which is probably as well given her unhappy recent screen outings. But she is omnipresent behind the camera, as the director, producer and co-writer, and further claims that she was "involved every step of the way from the production design to the editing".
