Macromedia just release the updated DataDirect JDBC version 3.3 drivers which resolve a large list of issues from earlier versions of the drivers. The new drivers provided in the TechNote should replace the 3.2 drivers shipped in ColdFusion MX 6.1 or the 3.1+ drivers.

According to a Macromedia security bulletins, Shockwave Player 10.2.0.022 fixes security problems. They say that critical vulnerabilities have been identified that could allow an attacker who successfully exploits these vulnerabilities to take control of the affected system. Adobe categorises this as a critical update and recommends affected users update to version 10.2.0.022.

In the latest version of the blog aggregator, Macromedia's traffic has risen dramatically. Most traffic to the aggregator does not come from search traffic, but blogger direct traffic from links and RSS readers pointing to the aggregator.
