Luny Tunes are a production duo composed of Francisco Saldaña (Luny) (born June 23, 1979) and Víctor Cabrera (Tunes) (born April 12, 1981). Both members were born in Dominican Republic; ... Luny lived in Puerto Rico in his early childhood then he resided in Peabody, MA where he met Tunes, who lived in Lynn, MA. Both members worked at Harvard University, Luny as a chef and Tune as a dishwasher. Meanwhile, they hoped to reach their goals in the music industry. One day, Luny received an invitation to go to Puerto Rico to have the opportunity to produce music, along with Tunes. Their success began with the help of DJ Nelson as their executive producer and promoter.

Both members were born in Dominican Republic but grew up in the Boston metropolitan area until they moved to Puerto Rico where their success began with the help of DJ Nelson as their executive producer and promoter. They are often compared to the Neptunes because of their versatility with the music genre they produce and their ability to make #1 hits not only in reggaeton, but in other major charts.

Luny Tunes' latest album, a collection of previously unreleased songs called Mas Flow 2 (Mas Flow, Inc.), is currently ranked in the top ten of the Billboard Top Latin albums chart and the number one seller on reggaetonline.net. Luny Tunes represents with tracks like "Rakata" and "Mayor Que Yo" for Latin music's hottest new sound. The production duo just signed their publishing deal with EMI and is currently working with music superstars Ricky Martin and R Kelly.
