Louis Pasteur: Research
built 607 days ago
Louis Pasteur was a French chemist working as a teacher in a university. He was asked by a wine company to explain why some wine turned sour whilst it was being made. Pasteur's research discovered that there were germs in the air that could cause liquids to go off.
Louis Pasteur focused much of his research on how to prevent the spread of harmful microorganisms by developing vaccines. Pasteur is most famous for discovering the rabies vaccine. For his many contributions to both medicine and industry, Louis Pasteur is remembered as one of the great minds of science.
In Louis Pasteur's scientific career it is striking to note the exponential character of the research he introduced in all the fields he opened up. He offered fabulous opportunities to stereochemistry. He is acknowledged as one of the founders of microbiology. He established the possibility of anaerobic life. He pointed the way to epidemiology, public health, and the bacteriologic fight. He struggled against the idea of spontaneous generation of life.
The following sources are meant to direct the researcher in the right direction, to cover the main issues and areas in and related to the life and discoveries of Louis Pasteur. It is general advice to refrain from the use of low-level educational sites, personal websites, and encyclopedias except for finding dates, names, etc. To fully understand Pasteur, one should use primary sources to their full extent, historical news articles, university sites, official scientific websites, as well as a great multitude of books that relate to the topic.

ANAVEX has forged strong scientific collaborations with leading European research and academic institutions, including Universite Montpellier, Universite Louis-Pasteur, EuroGENET Laboratories and the Academy of Athens' Institute of Biomedical Research. With these partnerships, ANAVEX is able to outsource parts of the R&D process to drive capital efficiency while maintaining intellectual property and research control. In 2008, ANAVEX plans to expand its scientific collaborations to include major U.S. research and academic institutions.
[One] book that came out on this subject is The Dream and The Lie of Louis Pasteur, and can be found on the web in a few locations. Here is just one: http://www.sumeria.net/dream/7.html. If you are interested in learning more about the fraudulent research of Pasteur, this is where to start.
