1. The X-Files -- Chris Carter
   - In November 2001, the creators of the TV series The X-Files decided to pursue a second feature film adaptation of the series. Creator Chris Carter was expected to collaborate with screenwriter Frank Spotnitz, who had co-written the first film, on a script for the follow-up.
2. New Amsterdam -- New York City
   This is one of a large number of fantasy flavored dramas that debut this fall, New Amsterdam is the story of a man who can not die until he finds his one true love. After four centuries, that love may finally be near and - for the first time - this New York City police detective faces mortality.
3. Pauley Perrette
   Like her character Abby Sciuto on NCIS (Tuesdays at 8 pm/ET on CBS), Pauley Perrette is much more than her many tattoos and dyed-black hair. Perrette revealed to TV Guide her less-than-stereotypical sensibilities, including a Southern background and an education very handy for portraying a forensic scientist. 4. The B-52'S -- New Wave
   Upon hearing the news of the pogrom and the burning of churches in Kosovo, a small crowd of Belgraders surrounded the city's mosque in retaliation. Windows were broken, and a fire was started. (They did the same in Serbia's second largest city, Nis.) In contrast to the scene in Kosovo, the Serbian government dispatched several hundred police to try and control the crowd; joining them was a Serbian Orthodox bishop who tried to talk the crowd down. They did not succeed entirely. The Serbian mob was as despicable as its Albanian counterpart, but it was far smaller (numbering in the hundreds, not the tens of thousands; and there were a few isolated incidents, not a systematic campaign of destruction), and it had to fight government authorities and disregard the pleadings of a bishop to commit its deeds. And 78 of the rioters have been arrested.
5. The X-Files
   With something like "The X-Files: Fight the Future", there are two ways to evaluate its merits. On the one hand, it can be assessed as another 'episode' of the series, and be judged on its consistency with and its ability to further develop the ongoing series mythology. This, of course, would presume a working knowledge of the show and its characters. In this respect, the movie succeeds quite well, playing on the quirks of the series' beloved protagonists and the aspirations of the show's avid fans (including whether or the two agents will actually share an on-screen kiss). In addition to the presence of Mulder and Scully, other series regulars, such as Assistant Director Skinner (Mitch Pileggi), the Lone Gunmen (Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund,, and Bruce Harwood), the First Elder (Don S. Williams), and the Well-Manicured Man (John Neville), put in appearances. However, with the exception of the latter, most of these roles seem obligatory in nature-- their appearances are more for providing familiar faces than necessary for propelling the story forward.
6. X-Files -- X-Files Movie
   The X-Files was a popular television series created by Chris Carter. Episodes of the series were first broadcast on the FOX network, starting with the pilot episode on September 10, 1993. In 1998, an X-Files movie was released, starring the main cast of the television series. During the initial run of the series, two spin-off shows were aired. These series were set in the same universe as The X-Files and were named Millennium and The Lone Gunmen. The X-Files completed its ninth and final season with a two-hour episode that first aired on May 19, 2002.
7. X-Files -- Series
   The title of this X-Files episode refers to the small town of Aubrey, MO, where a pregnant police detective (Deborah Strang) experiences a vision that leads her to a shallow, unmarked grave. Mulder and Scully are summoned to Aubrey when the body in the grave turns out to be that of FBI agent Sam Chaney, who disappeared some 40 years earlier during a serial-murder spree. Mulder suspects that strange forces are at work when a similar series of killings commences in the vicinity.    "The X-Files" was as much of a phenomenon abroad as it was in the United States. The show's conspiratorial tone and blend of paranoia, horror and suspense made it the most popular television series in Canada, the highest-rated series on Britain's BBC2, and one of the biggest sensations ever in Japanese television.
9. The X-Files -- Fox Mulder
   The X-Files is an award-winning television series that aired nine seasons on FOX. The series is currently in syndication and airs on The Sci Fi Channel. The breakout 1993 sci-fi series wove together the disparate threads of UFOs, paranormal activity, forensic investigation, conspiracy, and sexual tension into a compelling TV series and was a hit for Fox. Over it's several seasons, the series earned three Golden Globe awards for Best TV Drama.
10. New Amsterdam
    New Amsterdam is a town located in Harrison County, Indiana, along the Ohio River. As of the 2000 census, one person lived there. In May 2004, a visitor to New Amsterdam reported that it appeared that the census's figure was incorrect; he saw nine people in the town who all appeared to be residents, not counting those seen driving cars along the main road.
