Hip-hop artists usually have a shorter shelf life than unrefrigerated seafood, yet over 2 decades, he has compiled the sort of résumé that gets people feted at hall-of-fame ceremonies, including two Grammy Awards, 11 platinum CDs, a hit TV show, and more than 20 feature films.
